Aldi are at it again, the more I see the more I am going right off them.
For convenience sake it is near the Chemist ( my home away from home ) I picked up a few things , one of which was a Knob of Mozzarella Cheese.
It was only after I got it home that I noticed it wasn’t like a normal cheese.
They have added water to it or not allowed it to mature to its normal firm texture..
Any more floppy and you could spread it with a knife.
Either way it is nothing like the texture of a mozzarella.
Aldi are the all time best at watering stuff down, and playing with pack sizes, I used to buy their thick and creamy yoghurt, but after you now have to drink it rather than eat it with a spoon, I don’t need anybody to tell me what has gone on.
The potato chips are my fave, less weight in a bigger packet and pumped it full of gas to “ protect “ the chips.. It had nothing to do with the idea of hiding the fact that they had just adjusted the content volume.. Nah they are ethical..they wouldn’t short change their customers would they..
Keep an eye on your purchases when buying there and just make sure that they haven’t adjusted the contents without telling you..
I can always by fresher veges at the local Greengrocer , and pick what I want without it being pre packed..AND always CHEAPER
Aldi are just greedy, and if I say more I will be accused of being anti semetic I know.. but it just follows the belief that certain populations are more savvy about squeezing every last cent out of their customers.
