If you look back at history , there are lessons to be learned from past mistakes.. The one that I see already raising its head is the inequity in wealth distribution across the world, Nothing new I hear you say, always been that way.. Yes and no, There is a tipping point, when more people struggle to find shelter and food and work stupid hours for a pittance, getting nowhere after a lifetime of hard slog.
Only have to look at the most recent example.. China, There were a small bunch of extremely wealthy people who were running a country of subsistence farmers.. you only need a famine or such to put its finger on the scales and you create a chain reaction.. People who have nothing much to lose, if they do nothing they will likely die of starvation, if they rise up against exploitation, they will likely be killed.. Either way you end up dead. Soi they give making a change a good crack.
We have more than 20% of our population who are food insecure, not real sure where the next meal is coming from, skyrocketing energy prices and all the other things that constitute a decent lifestyle.
The numbers are not going down, the social unrest and knife attacks , machete attacks , thefts etc are also a sign, parents leaving kids to fend for themselves while they are working multiple jobs trying to pay a mortgage of keep the car running.
China’s government has since the revolution worked flat out to improve the lot of its citizens, or the same scenario that brought them to power is likely to take it away.. We are just plugging along blissfully ignorant, and hoping it will sort itself out without actually having a plan.. let me tell you.. It wont sort itself out.
